lauren LOPEZ

Lauren Lopez is an actress, singer and dancer currently living in Los Angeles. After graduating from the acting program at the University of Michigan, she went on to perform in productions based in Chicago, NYC and LA. Lauren continued her training in improv, studying at The Second City and iO in Chicago, as well as Groundlings in LA, where she is currently a student.  You can catch her in the improv show "Choose our Destiny" Wednesday nights on Project Alpha, Geek & Sundry and Nerdist's new premium streaming platform. It's at 7pm PT and it's very insane.

Theatrically, she recently finished a run of the new musical, Firebringer, which premiered at Chicago's Stage 773. Lauren also recently played George Eliot in Shipwrecked Comedy's award-winning digital series "Edgar Allan Poe's Murder Mystery Dinner Party" and performed in and choreographed The Tin Can Brothers' original musical "Spies are Forever" which ran at the NoHo Arts Center in Los Angeles.

She is an original member of the popular online musical theatre company, Team Starkid, and has worked with them on eight original musicals, two national tours, and partnerships with The Second City & Improv Olympic (iO) in Chicago.

Lauren has also appeared as principal talent in several national commercials and ad campaigns for companies including Toys R Us, Amtrak, KMart and Intel, among others.

In addition to performing, Lauren works as an audition coach and a choreographer for new musicals. She also bakes a LOT. She recently gave birth to her daughter Diane, a 10 year old 5lb Chihuahua. She is still glowing.
